Our grassroots group did an amazing amount of work in the first half of 2022. We created work teams to focus on our priorities, we wrote to our representatives, we provided testimony on proposed legislation, we wrote letters to the editors, we attended rallies, and we had conversations among ourselves, supporting each other and generating new ideas. Thank you to each of you for being active!
Yes, summer is upon us, and we will take the necessary time off that we need.
But we are not stopping completely. During this past legislative session, we realized the importance of choosing policy makers at the State Capitol who share our values.
Our next venture is to get involved in supporting campaigns in the November midterms.
Over the next few weeks, we will be identifying campaigns to support. We will be writing postcards, phonebanking, canvassing, and writing letters of support.
